Heat Press Instructions

Hover transfer under open heat press for 10 seconds to dry excess moisture.

Aluminum................90 seconds
FRP..........................110 seconds

1) Attach a few small pieces of heat tape to the jig and transfer to keep them aligned. (Some printers allow for a larger margin in one direction or another. You may need to shift your transfer sheet to align with the jig. For future reference, we suggest saving a copy of the template and digitally altering the file to custom fit your printer.) Lay the a rubber pad onto a backer board and cover with protective paper. Place the jig and transfer sheet on top of this. Adjust the pressure on the heat press before setting up the items for sublimation. Let the backer board cool before adding the materials.

2) If items are 2-sided metal, lay your second transfer on top of the set up items and align the transfer. Using a few pieces of heat tape, adhere the transfer to the jig and backer board to keep all items together and aligned. The jig and substrates should now be sandwiched between the two transfers.

3) Cover the backer board with protective paper, then the heat conductive green rubber (1/16") or the rubber provided with some boards.

3) Lay the sandwiched set of items face up (if one-sided) on the rubber. Press.

4) Remember your materials are HOT! Once cooled, carefully remove the top transfer and substrates from the jig. You now have increased your volume production level.
