| Heat Press Instructions |
Hover transfer under open heat press for 10 seconds to dry excess moisture. If you are imaging in a mug press, you will need a 1/8" thick green rubber pad to help the water bottle fit snugly in the press.1) Remove the cap from the top of the bottle. Remove the water bottle lids before sublimating. 2) Apply image to be transferred face down onto the bottle. You may use either DyeTrans Pro Spray or heat tape to secure the transfer to the bottle. Just be sure not to let the heat platen or the rubber on the wrap overlay the tape. 3) Cover entire imaging area with protective paper. 4) Wrap the bottle with rubber or dyewrap. Note that the rubber pad is slightly longer than the imaging area of the bottle. This is so you can easily position the bottle in the press in that you have more area to "pinch" the rubber while positioning it in the press. 5) Press at 400, for 3 min and 30 secs , at a Light pressure. Note from George Knight Presses: We cannot emphasize enough: NO pressing narrow water bottles without the extra rubber pad! You will pinch/overstretch/bend the heater if you try and force-press the water bottle with only one pad in the press (no extra pad). |
| Shrink Wrap Instructions | Instructions for Using an Oven and SubliShrink Time: 4-5 Minutes Temp: 400° 1. Remove all lids or plastic parts. 2. Secure image to substrate using heat tape. 3. Place SubliShrink around blank, secure with tape if necessary. 4. Use heat gun to form SubliShrink evenly around blank product. 5. Place in oven for appropriate time and temperature. **Shrink film may stick to top edge of bottles. To prevent this, wrap the bottle in protective paper before placing in the SubliShrink. |
