The Foundation of a Solid Business

The Foundation of a Solid Business
Your success is our success. Our largest priority is providing support to our clients, including marketing advice, sales support, technical know-how, or cost savings. Just as the framework of a home needs a solid foundation, so too does the infrastructure of a company. This solid foundation can be the key to weathering the vicissitudes of the market, maintaining and supporting growth, and allowing adaptability to stay relevant. No matter how impressive your brand or public reputation may be, a company lacking a solid foundation and vision will eventually fail. What can we do to ensure that dose not happen? We recently explored our own policies and protocols at Condé, the foundations of a solid business, and how this fundamental structure is sustained for growth and success.

Our Company Depends on the Consumer

No matter what new products we carry, if our clients do not find value in them, they are worthless. As most consumer-based companies, we invest in trending products that are sought after by our clients end goal consumers. A good example of this are Fidget Spinners. When Fidget Spinners first appeared on the market, they became an instant sensation. Children, and even some adults, desired them and they could be found virtually anywhere. From gas stations to gift shops, mall kiosks and home shopping networks, the Fidget Spinner became one of the most sought after items on the market.

Naturally, we wanted a portion of the market share and began looking for sublimatable Fidget Spinners. Unfortunately, the trending demand for them quickly diminished by the time we found a quality product. Needless to say, we don’t sell them. Though many of us think it would be clever to carry them because other companies do not, we know it would not be profitable. Consumer needs are paramount in the personalized gifting industry, so Condé supplies what our clients demand. However, as is the case for fidget spinners, catching a trend at the right moment is critical for success.

Build Systems That Can Be Successfully Automated

Doing the same task repeatedly is not only monotonous but takes up a large amount of time that could be monetized elsewhere in your company. For instance, if you are valued at approximately $40 an hour but spend 30 minutes daily sending social media updates and reminding overdue clients to pay invoices, that equates to over $5000 a year wasted on two menial tasks. Do not fear automation or monetary investments in automation. At Condé we use content management programs, job recruiting websites, and payroll tracking to streamline our processes and optimize our employees time. The simplest systems can maximize profit and revenue while minimizing overhead and idle time.

Create Effective Marketing Strategies

Active marketing is crucial for the prosperity of a company. People often think marketing is only advertising and brand slogans, but in actuality it encompasses the best way possible to spread knowledge and educate consumers about a company’s operations and product capabilities. As I have mentioned in a prior article, I had no idea what sublimation was until I joined Condé; now I am blown away by the creations we design daily. That being said, just because the people of Condé are experts in their field does not mean average or potential clients are.

Condé has spread massive amounts of information and carved out a prominent reputation in the sublimation industry through a number of marketing techniques including:
-social media
-trade shows
-magazines
-innovative systems
-open houses
-press releases
-class demonstrations
-photos
-samples
-trends
-updated product lists
-updated websites
-partner affiliates
-business materials
-blogs

None of aforementioned could be possible without proper marketing. One of the most attractive aspects of sublimation from a business perspective, is the revenue a person can create with a low start-up cost. However, if your customers don’t know what you can provide them, why would they seek out your company? Advertise your abilities accordingly, engage with your clients and form a lasting beneficial relationship.

In short, the foundation of our business is solid and transparent information. We need consumer demand facts, data that can streamline basic processes, and distribution of information to our customers that can help them to be successful. Condé never plans to stop growing. For that to be true, we have to provide our customers with everything they need in order to be successful.
