Wanting to create a unique home decor piece inspired me to draft up a sewing pattern for a new take on the wall sconce using Conde's linen yardage. I first sublimated a vintage image to the front section. I then sewed the sconce. I added a muslin lining and a contrast trim to the top. Finally, I laser cut a thin sheet material (Lucent) to keep the back of sconce flat, added some English lavender, and voila! Ready to hang! Love it!
