Heat Press Instructions

Hover transfer under open heat press for 10 seconds to dry excess moisture.

Lint roll and prepress for 60-90 seconds. (This step is to insure that the material has stopped shrinking. If the material has not finished shrinking you will get a ghosting or a blurry image in some areas . 90 seconds for larger than 12 x 18 pieces. )

Let the substrate cool and attach the facedown transfer to the faceup substrate with prospray.
Cook for 60-75 seconds for smaller than 12 x 18 pieces
Cook for 90 seconds for 12x18 or larger pieces.

If your pressure is too low you may see area of drop out in your finished product.
If your prepress is not long enough you will see ghosting or blurriness in your finished product.

Note: Poly satin requires pre-pressing twice. Allow to cool between presses.

Press, then lift platen slowly so fabric does not shift. The larger the piece of fabric, the longer you will need to press.

Note: For wide format imprinting, using a Maxi-Press:
On press platen, place a Nomex pad, then put down a piece of protective paper.

For smaller presses, do not use the Nomex pad, but proceed with all other instructions.

Proper care procedures optimize the life span of Vapor® high performance fabric garments. Following these simple instructions will maximize the life of Vapor Apparel's inherit wicking technology that is PURE-tech.

Do not use Dryer sheets or fabric softeners
Do not bleach
Do not dry clean
Machine wash cold
Tumble dry low

Using fabric softeners on moisture wicking performance apparel will depreciate its moisture wicking capabilities over time. We recommend using a minimum amount of laundry products when caring for your garment. Fabric softeners and other laundry products can leave behind residues which clog the pores of these highly technical fibers preventing moisture from escaping to surface area and evaporating. Bleach free and scent free detergents are strongly recommended

By following these simple guidlines, you can insure that PURE-tech wicking technology will keep you dryer, longer; outlasting the test of time.
