Hover transfer under open heat press for 10 seconds to dry excess moisture. NOTE: When using a 16" x 20" heat press, do each section separately and allow each to cool before proceeding to the next section.1. Cover the bottom table of the press with a sheet of protective paper. 2. Lint roll the image area of the substrate. 3. Place substrate face up on bottom table, cover with protective paper, and pre-press for 30 seconds. 4. Secure transfer to substrate using ProSpray. 5. Place substrate face up, with attached transfer face down, on top of protective paper on bottom table. 6. Top with protective paper and press according to time, temperature, and pressure above. Application notes: Failure to lint roll the image area may result in small blue or red flecks to appear after the transfer process. Do not skip this step. Ink will sublimate to the non-white area of the blanket if you make the image too large. We recommend using the Vignette or Feather-edge around the image so it blends nicely with the non-imaging portion of the blanket. Should you see scorching after transfer, spray a 50/50 mixture of peroxide/distilled water or Oxyclean solution onto the substrate while it is hot. If it has already cooled, then simply reheat and spray. |
