Hover transfer under open heat press for 10 seconds to dry excess moisture. 1. Cover the bottom table of the press with a sheet of protective paper.2. Lint roll the image area of the substrate. 3. Place substrate face up on bottom table, cover with protective paper, and pre-press for 10 seconds. 4. Lint roll the image area of the substrate again to remove any loose fibers. 5. Secure transfer to the garment using ProSpray. 6. Place substrate face up, with attached transfer face down, on top of protective paper on bottom table. 7. Top with protective paper and press according to time, temperature, and pressure above. Application notes: Some towels may have loose material, like lint or other debris, in them that could affect the quality of the transfer. You should vigorously shake each towel in a snapping motion to free this material prior to transfer. A more deliberate additional cleaning technique is to use a sticky lint roller on the imaging side of the towel after shaking. As these towels are a poly/cotton blend, at times random cotton fibers will penetrate through to the polyester layer. This will present itself as small undyed fibers primarily in areas of high color coverage and saturation. Given the potential for this to occur, you are encouraged to perform a test run before accepting a print job with deep graphic fills. |
