SubliSparkle Heat Transfer Vinyl Sublimation Instructions for GFU-1218W

Hover transfer under open heat press for 10 seconds to dry excess moisture.

1) Load SubliSparkle onto your plotter. (Or cut with scissors.) Cut design using plotter (for Silhouette, use the automatic blade set on 3 with a thickness of 15 and a speed of 5).

Always test cut to ensure proper depth, speed and down force. This material is thicker than most so
it is especially important to perform a test cut before plotter cutting your final image.

2) Cut in mirror image.

3) Weed excess film from carrier that you do not want to transfer.

4) Place image on the surface to which you are transferring the film.

5) Place a Teflon sheet between the heat platen and the polyester carrier sheet to prevent sticking and edge damage to the transferred design.

6) Heat press at 400° F for 10 seconds using firm even Medium pressure.

7) Peel cold and carefully! Use a dull blade to help separate the image from the carrier sheet if
necessary.

8) Mirror Image your transfer. Place image on the surface to which you are transferring the film. Cover transferred image with Teflon sheet and sublimate at 400° for 45 seconds.

If SubliSparkle only partially adheres to the fabric it is usually because insufficient or uneven pressure
was applied. If this happens, reposition the design and repress, but do not increase the time or
temperature.

Turn garment inside out
Do NOT bleach
Tumble Dry, Low Heat
Do NOT Iron

Apply to cotton, polyester, and blends. Will NOT adhere to nylon.
