Hover transfer under open heat press for 10 seconds to dry excess moisture.

1) Put down protective paper on the heat press platen.

2) Press Substrate Face-Down: Lay down the image and use heat tape to secure the substrate in place.
Some items are two-sided; if you want, you can print both sides at once; just insert the item between two transfer images.
You may also print one side, then the other; just allow the substrate to cool fully between pressings.

3) Cover with protective paper. Press using time and temp above.

NOTES:
Notes on gluing: We recommend e6000 (sold separately under part number 230025) or Liquid Nails For Small Projects, Clear Silicon Adhesive. Beware that the set time is 6 hours and the cure time is 16 hours.

For a quicker set time, we experimented with Liquid Nails for Small Projects, White Repair Adhesive. While the set time was 30 minutes, the cure time was 24 hours and the underlying residual white glue showed up on the edges of the metal.
You can get a faster cure time with 2 part epoxies, but they are a little harder to find in clear and can be wasteful as they use long disposable delivery tubes. We tested the Loctite Instant Mix Epoxy. Setting time was 5 minutes. The box indicated that the color was translucent yellow. The underlying residual glue really wasn't all that yellow. It was more translucent than anything else.
