Condé LaserMPrints™ Metal Plus (Hard Surface One) is our laser transfer paper recommended for coated and uncoated "hard substrates", such as metal, ceramic, glass, plastic and other "non-porous" substrates. This printable transfer paper bonds the image to your hard substrate without excess emulsion or polymer. Recommended for line art, clip art or vector art decoration. Not recommended for photographic reproduction.
Condé LaserMPrints™ Leather and Wood (Hard Surface Two) is our photo transfer paper recommended for "soft" substrates such as acrylic, leather and wood products. Hard Surface Two laser transfer paper applies a solid polymer coating for added durability to "soft" goods and is recommended for line art, clip art, vector art or photographic decoration.
For best results, trim LaserMPrints Hard Surface paper after printing to reduce the transfer of excess emulsion background. Do not use a craft or vinyl cutter to trim. Apply LaserMPrints Hard Surface to a clean surface with a commercial heat press or mug press to ensure proper bond to substrate. A heat conductive foam pad is supplied for application to substrates. Allow 24 hours for design to “cure” on substrate. Product is intended for decoration purposes only. Acetone can be used to clean excess emulsion residue or to remove a printed image from a hard substrate.
