OD Green Vapor® Solar™ Performance T-shirt, Long Sleeve, 4.1 oz 100% Micro-Fiber Polyester. A loose fit, light-weight feel that allows for maximum mobility in your athletic lifestyle. Not recommended for sublimation. Dark colors are suitable for our SubliSparkle Vinyl, sold separately.

5.9 oz ring-spun polyester performance fabric with built-in permanent properties like climate and moisture control. All-day UPF 50+ protection whether the fabric is wet or dry. Tapered sleeves keep them from slipping while you climb, paddle, or reel in a big one.

The color won’t fade from exposure to the elements. Provides SolarBloc® UPF 50+ sun protection on covered areas, plus PURE-tech® cool-wicking and M-Shield® permanent odor control. The fabric is also quick-drying and durable. Machine washable.

Crewneck. Fits true-to-size. Set-in sleeves, forward shoulder, and tapered wrists keep sleeves from falling down. Shirt length hits just below the hip to prevent riding up while active.

Heat Press Instructions:
This garment is NOT Sublimation Certified.*

1. Place an appropriate size piece of Vapor Foam on the bottom table of the press.
2. Cover the Vapor Foam with a sheet of protective paper.
3. Secure transfer to the garment using ProSpray.
4. Place garment face up, with attached transfer face down, on top of protective paper on Vapor Foam and bottom table.
5. Place a sheet of protective paper between the layers of the garment to prevent sublimation blow-through.
6. Top with protective paper and press according to time, temperature, and pressure above.

Application notes: Press and paper lines can be an issue when pressing shirts. Click here for a video showing how to feather or "deckle" the edge of the transfer.

*Dark colored shirts are not suitable for sublimation. You can image dark black to a red shirt, but black shirts will just absorb the ink.

Most darker color Vapor Apparel shirts are not “Sublimation Certified” by Vapor for two reasons:

1. The darker garment has a big impact on the color reproduction of sublimated images.

2. Even when printing very dark or black graphics on a royal blue or Mars red shirt for example, the dyes in the shirt that are subject to the heat will release (they sublimate out) and the shirt will show an obvious faded-looking rectangle from the press platen. One can see the dyes on the spent sublimation release paper. There is no solution to this problem with sublimation.
